Clinical Supervision

Supervision is a real relationship in which we will focus on the profession, your well-being, and the care of your clients. We will delve into case consultations, client goals, your professional goals, and the intricate components of therapeutic work. My doctoral degree is in Counselor Education & Supervision, and I have been a supervisor for over 5 years. I provide supervision in private practice and have also contracted with Northwestern University. I have clinical experience with & love seeing associates gain competency in the following:

  • Teaching clients emotion and behavior regulation using various coping and mindfulness skills (& helping clients to figure out what those coping skills are??).

  • DBT, ACT, Behavioral Activation, CPT and exposure-based approaches to therapy.

  • Suicidality, self-harm, issues around eating, and severe anxiety.

  • Working with teens (15+), families, and adults.

  • Incorporating mindfulness techniques and DBT skills into the clinician’s own self practice.

Group or Dyadic Supervision

Clinical supervision can be one of the biggest expenses for a beginning therapist, especially right out of graduate school. I understand this. It can be financially and educationally beneficial to do supervision in a group or dyadic setting. Group/dyadic supervision is conducted over Zoom on a weekly or biweekly schedule.
